Dolls
In this section are archived images of the doll sculptures that were created in the first two years of my career as a doll artist. Early doll sculptures were done in a 1:6 scale. For me, this was a good size to sculpt while exploring the medium of polymer clay, body structure, facial expression, and different tools and techniques . This exploration has resulted in a philosophy of only producing One Of A Kind (OOAK) doll sculptures. Even requests by customers to produce something similar to an already created doll will be OOAK because all dolls are handcrafted, without the use of molds, from start to finish.
